Guru Purnima Celebrated with Great Enthusiasm at Saraswati High School, Gandhinagar The festival of Guru Purnima was celebrated with great enthusiasm this morning at Saraswati High School, Gandhinagar. The event was jointly organized by the Lions Club of Ahmedabad Metro City, Lions Club of Gandhinagar Metro, and Lions Club of Gandhinagar Metro Royal. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Meenakshi Ben Jaysinghani, District Chairperson (DC), Quest Department. She was warmly welcomed by the school's trustees, Mr. Mukeshbhai and ZC Beenaben Patel, with a bouquet, a traditional stole (khes), and a ceremonial shawl. On this occasion, the office bearers of all three Lions Clubs expressed their sincere gratitude to Meenakshi Ben for her gracious presence and inspiring words. Students of the school enthusiastically participated in various competitions, including drawing, essay writing, and elocution. The winners were honored with certificates of achievement. Addressing the students, Meenakshi Ben and Zone Chairperson Beenaben Patel delivered motivational speeches, encouraging the children to respect their teachers, pursue excellence in education, and uphold the values of discipline and lifelong learning. At the conclusion of the program, refreshments were served to all the students, making the celebration both meaningful and memorable.
