On 24 August 2026 at 7:00 a.m., the Lions Club of Ahmedabad Metro City successfully organized a Breast Cancer Awareness and Free Mammography Screening Camp for women at Tragad. A team of six female doctors conducted the camp and provided health guidance and free screening services. Around 355 women participated in the camp. Of these, approximately 116 women were referred by Dr. Kinjalben Patel for further medical investigation as special cases, and they received guidance from medical specialists. On this occasion, President Lion Ilaxi Chauhan encouraged women to remain aware and vigilant about breast cancer. She also provided information about the benefits of yoga asanas and pranayama for maintaining good health.
