On Tuesday, 25th August 2026, a meaningful and impactful program was organized at Saraswati Vidyalaya, Gandhinagar, as part of Quest Week. The program was jointly organized by Lions Club of Ahmedabad Metro City, Lions Club of Gandhinagar Metro Global, and Lions Club of Gandhinagar Metro Adhyashakti. The program aimed to promote character building, strengthen mental health, and create awareness among school children about the harmful effects of drugs and the importance of staying away from substance abuse. The program was graced by Mrs. Ushmaben Adhvaryu, District Chairperson – Mental Health Awareness, as the Chief Guest. ZC Mrs. Binaben Patel attended as the Guest of Honour, along with Trustee Mr. Mukeshbhai Patel. Mr. Naeem Tirmizi, President of Metro Global, was also present, along with members of all three Lions Clubs. Mrs. Ushmaben, Mr. Naeembhai and Mrs. Binaben addressed the students and shared valuable and inspiring thoughts on mental well-being, positive character, and making healthy and responsible choices in life. A particularly meaningful moment was when Mrs. Ushmaben administered a pledge to the students to stay away from drugs and never consume them. The students participated enthusiastically and took the pledge with sincerity. The program concluded on a warm and joyful note with the distribution of snacks and fullscape notebooks to the students. An inspiring initiative towards building confident, responsible and healthy young minds.
