Cataract surgery

On 30 November, under the auspices of Lions Club Gandhinagar Famina and in collaboration with Karnavati Eye Hospital, a free cataract screening camp was held at Ramji Mandir, Kanbha. Approximately 15 patients suspected of cataracts were identified during the camp; about 14 of them were referred to Karnavati Eye Hospital for further evaluation. Following detailed examinations, around 12 patients underwent successful cataract surgery — entirely free of cost — courtesy of Karnavati Eye Hospital. The hospital also arranged transportation for patients from the camp to the facility and provided accommodation until their treatment was complete. Post-surgery, the patients expressed deep satisfaction with both the procedure and the comprehensive care provided by Lions Club of Gandhinagar Femina and Karnavati Eye Hospital.
