On 19 August 2026, the Lions Club of Ahmedabad Metro City organized an exhibition of Rakhis made by children with intellectual disabilities at Nava Vadaj. The local women gave an excellent response to the exhibition. It was a successful initiative aimed at providing employment opportunities to these children and helping them become self-reliant. Local residents purchased a large number of Rakhis, encouraging and motivating the children and appreciating their creativity and efforts.
