Ahmedabad, 9 August 2026: The Lions Club of Maninagar Fort, District 3232 B3, Zone VII, organised its Installation Ceremony for the Lions Year 2026–27 with great enthusiasm and fellowship at Atithi Hotel, near Nagri Hospital, Ahmedabad. The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome and fellowship, followed by prayer and the formal call to order by Dr. Lion Tejal Shah, President. The programme included the Flag Salutation, Lions Mission Statement and National Anthem through multimedia presentations. The formal installation ceremony was conducted by the Installing Officer, Shri Vikas Jain, who administered the installation and addressed the gathering. The newly installed President, Lion Rupal Dave, was formally introduced, marking the beginning of a new year of leadership and service for the club. Dr. Swati Dave delivered the acceptance speech, expressing her commitment to the ideals of Lions International and emphasising the importance of meaningful community service, teamwork, compassion and collective leadership. The programme was graced by distinguished Lions dignitaries, including Guest of Honour 1st VDG Shri Bharatbhai Sheth and 2nd VDG Shri Atul Joshi, who addressed the gathering and extended their blessings and guidance to the club. Lion Bhavesh Dani, Charter President, also shared his blessings and encouraged the members to continue the club’s tradition of service. The Secretary’s Report was presented by Lion Upasana Barot, highlighting the club’s activities and achievements. The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Lion Chelsi Dalwadi, Secretary, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, members, guests and everyone who contributed to the successful organisation of the ceremony. The Installation Ceremony reflected the spirit of “We Serve” and reaffirmed the commitment of the Lions Club of Maninagar Fort towards serving society with dedication and compassion. The evening concluded with dinner and fellowship, providing members and guests an opportunity to strengthen camaraderie and celebrate the beginning of another promising year of service.
