Free Eye Check-up Camp Organized by Lions Club of Gandhinagar Femina Lions Club of Gandhinagar Femina, in association with Lions Karnavati Shantaben Vishnubhai Patel Eye Hospital, Ognaj, is organizing a Free Eye Examination Camp for the benefit of the local community. The camp will provide free eye examinations. Date: Sunday, 6 September 2026 Time: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Venue: Kalabhai Satsang Hall, near Talav, Ambod, Taluka Mansa The programme will be attended by Lion Shirishbhai Modi, District Chairperson – Vision, and Shri Ganpatbhai, Sarpanch, Ambod Gram Panchayat, as special guests. Patients diagnosed with cataract will be referred to Lions Eye Hospital, Ognaj, where cataract surgery will be provided free of cost. Arrangements for transportation to the hospital, admission and return home after surgery will also be made. Free accommodation and meals will be provided to patients at Ognaj during their hospital stay. Three (3 ) Patients undergoing cataract surgery are requested to bring their previous medical reports, Aadhaar Card and/or Voter ID with them. The Lions Club has appealed to residents of Ambod and surrounding villages to take advantage of this free health camp and encourage family members, senior citizens and those requiring eye or health check-ups to attend.
