Eye Screening Camp Conducted at Sargasan Primary School; 180 Children Screened An eye screening camp was organized at Sargasan Primary School with the objective of promoting eye health and ensuring early detection of vision-related problems among schoolchildren. A total of 180 children underwent eye screening during the programme. Following the examination, 21 children were identified as requiring spectacles and will be provided with glasses, while 3 children were referred to the hospital for further examination and treatment. Although the programme was organized at short notice, the President, Secretary, and members were present and actively participated in the initiative, demonstrating their commitment to children’s health and well-being. The initiative was an important step towards ensuring timely diagnosis and appropriate treatment for children with vision problems, thereby supporting their overall health, education, and bright future.
