Red Reflective Safety Belts Distributed to Ambaji Pilgrims On 19 September 2026, the Lions Club of Gandhinagar Metro Global distributed red reflective safety belts at the Jay Ambe Padyatri Seva Camp near Balva, organised by the Metro Family. This thoughtful initiative was undertaken to enhance the road safety and visibility of the more than one lakh pilgrims travelling on foot to Ambaji. The programme was attended by the club’s First Vice-President, Tarunbhai Patel, along with Zone 6 Chairperson Dr. Binaben Patel and GET Mukeshbhai Patel, the camp organisers. Dr. Binaben Patel and other club members personally helped the pilgrims wear the reflective safety belts. The initiative was widely appreciated as a meaningful step towards ensuring the safety of the pilgrims during their journey. On this occasion, local artists presented traditional Raas-Garba in beautiful costumes. Members of the Lions Club of Gandhinagar Metro Global also warmly welcomed the ceremonial chariot travelling towards Ambaji and distributed bananas among the pilgrims and other attendees.
