"Minutes of the 2nd Board Meeting Lions Club of Ahmedabad Vibrant 📅 Date: 21st July 2025 from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM 📍 Venue: Lions Hub, Ellisbridge 1️⃣ Call to Order & Welcome Address The meeting was called to order by President Lion Mukesh B. Chopra, who warmly welcomed all Past Presidents and Board Members. He expressed gratitude for their unwavering support and commitment to the club’s vision and mission. 2️⃣ Secretary’s Report Lion Pankaj Jain presented a brief report highlighting all service activities conducted to date, along with the number of beneficiaries. He emphasized the social impact and success of these initiatives. The report was unanimously approved by all Board Members. He also discussed the upcoming Installation Ceremony and conveyed the Board’s best wishes for its grand success. 3️⃣ Treasurer’s Report Lion Suraj Jain shared an overview of the club’s current financial status and suggested exploring sponsorship opportunities. He explained the model for bringing sponsors to support future programs. 4️⃣ Discussion on Upcoming Programs President Lion Mukesh B. Chopra shared plans for upcoming fellowship and service activities such as Tree Plantation, Ladies Picnic etc. Several impactful initiatives were discussed to strengthen camaraderie among members while enhancing the club’s community service outreach. 5️⃣ District-Level Activities & Committee Formation PP Lion Frenny Shah provided details of district-level activities and outlined the committee formation required for the Installation Ceremony scheduled on 27th July 2025. She suggested names for various committees, which were discussed and confirmed by the members. 6️⃣ Blessings & Words of Wisdom – Multiple Council Chairperson PP Lion Sunilji Gugaliya shared valuable insights on Lionism and commended the efforts of the current leadership team. He narrated his enriching experience from the Orlando International Convention, a proud moment for all members. He emphasized the importance of membership development and appreciated the new BOD members. Furthermore, he highlighted the role of the Leo Club and entrusted PP Lion Rajesh Kapkar with the responsibility of guiding and mentoring Leo Club members. 7️⃣ Zone Chairman’s Update Zone Chairman Lion Sandeep Sharma shared highlights of the District Installation Ceremony scheduled for 2nd August 2025 and encouraged board members to attend, explaining its significance. 8️⃣ Update by PP Lion Ashish Ganna PP Lion Ashish Ganna elaborated on the visit of Lion Shri Sunilji Gugaliya and once again highlighted the pride of his Orlando International visit. He also appreciated the club’s ongoing activities and achievements. 9️⃣ New Fellowship Program First VP Lion Mayank Jain with Lion Ankit Chokshi presented details of the New Box Cricket Series (2025-26) to be held throughout the year. This initiative aims to bring members closer, fostering better bonding and fellowship. 🔟 Remarks & Guidance – Past Presidents All Past Presidents shared their wisdom and offered guidance to further strengthen the club. They emphasized the importance of teamwork, innovation, and strategic planning for sustainable growth. Their motivating words inspired all members to work with renewed enthusiasm. 1️⃣1️⃣ Open Forum – Members’ Ideas, Suggestions & Concerns An interactive session was held where members actively brainstormed and shared innovative suggestions to improve the club’s efficiency and community impact. The open forum allowed constructive dialogue, ensuring every member’s voice was heard and valued. 1️⃣2️⃣ Vote of Thanks Secretary Lion Pankaj Jain extended a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the Past Presidents & Board Members for their valuable contributions and active participation. He acknowledged everyone’s dedication, teamwork, and enthusiasm in making the meeting a success and appreciated members for accepting roles in various committees for the upcoming Installation Ceremony. ✅ Resolutions Passed After due deliberation, the following resolutions were unanimously passed during the meeting: 1️⃣ Approval of Secretary’s Report detailing service activities and beneficiaries to date. 2️⃣ Formation of Committees for the Installation Ceremony on 27th July 2025, with suggested names duly approved. 3️⃣ Authorization to Explore Sponsorships for supporting future fellowship and service activities. 4️⃣ Approval of the Box Cricket Series as a new fellowship program for the year 2025–26. 5️⃣ Encouragement to Attend District Installation Ceremony on 2nd August 2025.
